Oregon Coast

The Pacific Coast Highway meanders through Northern California and Oregon, through small towns, ports, and rural byways, passing a number of lighthouses along the way. Beyond Cape Sebastian the regular coastal fog magically disappeared for me and Heceta Head lighthouse was bathed in sunlight. The headlands dropping down to the ocean and the white accents of the rocks and lighthouse made for an irresistible image.
